Oh one more thing every breasts and needs are different keep that in mind :). It’s a great portable breast pump, but like its predecessor, the original Freestyle, the suction isn’t very strong. I got mine through my insurance but I've seen it at Target and Amazon and I think it costs about 165 dollars. Quick Takeaway: The new Freestyle Flex is lighter and smaller than its big sis, the Freestyle has flexible, comfortable shields offers two hours of pumping time between charges and connects to the MyMedela app for smart tracking. Also my cousin she has the spectra and one time she came to visit and had to pump so she tried my pump and as soon as she tried it she said she loved it, she said it emptied her breasts faster than hers and she said she would get that one for her next baby. Others, like medela for me didn't work I tried it at the hospital which it supposed to be the best one and I didn't like it because it took sooooo long for me to emptied my breasts. On the other hand, Medela has a 13.43 x 7.05 x 9.45 inches dimension and weighs 5.09 pounds. Spectra S2 plus has a dimension of 7.9 x 7.9 x 6.7 inches and a 3.3-pound weight. Anyway my baby right know is 2 months old and I still pumping, I use it everyday every 3 or 4 hours and haven't had any problems with it, plus it helps me to emptied my breasts pretty fast vs. Between Spectra vs Medela, the Medela Freestyle Flex breast pump weighs more. My baby didn't want to latch so I have to pump every three to four hours and I'm proud of my self because it is hard for me to be doing it, I lose time washing the pump parts, Baby Bottles, and sitting for long periods to pump. Both breast pumps come from reputable brands that parents trust, but of course, there are some differences to really compare the two options. I am a first time mom and when I got mine I just went with the Lansinoh because I heard the brand before but I didn't know anything about pumps or other brands and honestly I have to say that was the best decision I could made. Like choosing between the Spectra S1 vs Medela Freestyle.
